(Summary description)Plasma-treated cotton fiber is usually modified by plasma-treated surface treatment (PST), which can improve the adhesion and wettability of the fiber, improve the dyeing performance and increase the dyeing rate. Continuous low temperature plasma treatment device can desizing and refining cellulose fibers such as cotton. Plasma has been successfully used in the desizing process of open-width fabrics. The plasma can cut off the molecular bond of the fabric, increase the desizing rate, improve the dyeing performance, and shorten the pre-treatment washing process greatly, saving water, solar terms, economy and environmental protection. Hemp fiber has good mechanical and physical properties and health care properties. But because its orientation is high, the dyeing is poor, not easy to dye into dark, and the brightness is also poor. It was found that plasma treatment of ramie fiber, surface etching and introduction of hydrophilic groups could significantly increase the capillary effect, greatly improve the wettability of the fiber surface, improve the diffusion efficiency of dyes in the fiber and increase the adsorption capacity of the fiber to dyes. At the same time, the surface roughness is also increased, the surface area is increased, the weight loss rate is increased, and the grafting effect is improved after being treated by air plasma. It was found that the fabric's dry and wet rubbing fastness and washing fastness were improved when the flax was dyed with reactive dyes after grafting. The dyeing rate, color fastness and color depth of dyes have also been improved to a certain extent. In order to improve the printing effect of flax, semi-bleached and bleached linen fabrics were treated by plasma treatment, and the capillary effect of the fabrics was increased by 1 and 1.5 times respectively, and the whiteness of the raw and bleached fabrics samples was almost unchanged. Then the flax fabric is printed with reactive dye screen. The results show that the dyeing fastness of linen fabrics treated by plasma is high, and the fixing rate of reactive dyes on the fibers is greatly improved.

Plasma treatment of cellulose fibers:

Plasma-treated cotton fiber is usually modified by plasma-treated surface treatment (PST), which can improve the adhesion and wettability of the fiber, improve the dyeing performance and increase the dyeing rate. Continuous low temperature plasma treatment device can desizing and refining cellulose fibers such as cotton.

Plasma has been successfully used in the desizing process of open-width fabrics.
