(Summary description)Because of its high chemical activity and limited thermal damage, atmospheric pressure cryogenic plasma is a promising tool for biomedical applications, including coagulation, bacterial inactivation, sterilization and cancer treatment. It is important to develop portable plasma sources that are accessible to the human body and suitable for outdoor and home operation. In this work, a portable rechargeable low-temperature plasma spark discharge device (130 mm×80 mm×35 mm, 300 g) was designed. Optimize discharge frequency and plume length by selecting resistance, capacitance, electrode gap, and ground electrode aperture. Results show that the spark plasma plume in 0.33 the length of the capacitance of 12 mm and 10 hz frequency of u F, resistance to 1 m Ω, electrode gap of 2 mm, grounding electrode diameter is 1.5 mm. Biological tests have shown that the plasma produced by the device is rich in active substances that can be used in plasma biomedicine, including routine disinfection and wound healing.
